Tuwing Huwebes, Sabado at Linggo.

SYLVIA SANCHEZ AND JC SANTOS TOPBILL IPAGLABAN MO ANNIVERSARY EPISODE

Ipaglaban Mo” continues its month-long third anniversary celebration and features the story of a deaf and mute person who is the sole witness to a murder in an episode topbilled by JC Santos and Sylvia Sanchez this Saturday (July 8) on ABS-CBN.

Karlo (JC Santos) has long been emotionally and even physically abused by the people around him because of his condition. What hurt him the most, however, was that his very own father was one of them. Thus, his only ally in his life was his mother Teresa (Sylvia Sanchez), who always stood by his side no matter what.

One day, while walking in the streets, Karlo saw how three men abducted and killed a helpless woman. How did Karlo tell the authorities what he witnessed? Did the court believe his testimonies?

Since “Ipaglaban Mo” premiered on ABS-CBN in 2014, the show has been consistently captivating viewers in its timeslot because of its timely and relevant stories that not only showcase Filipino values, but also inform viewers of their legal rights.

“Ipaglaban Mo” further strengthened its commitment to serve by offering free legal consultations to the public with Atty. Jose and Jopet Sison every week in ABS-CBN’s Tulong Center located in the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City. Through this, the public will not only be guided on what to do next with regard to their case, but also feel empowered to fight for their rights.

It has also received awards from the 2016 PMPC Star Awards where it won the Best Drama Anthology, and Best Public Affairs Program from the 2nd Alta Media Icon Awards.

Don’t miss the anniversary month of the 3rd year of “Ipaglaban Mo” every Saturday after “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN. For more updates, follow @IpaglabanMoCh2 on Twitter; @IpaglabanMoABSCBN on Instagram, and like www.Facebook.com/IpaglabanMoABSCBN on Facebook.

This is based on data from Kantar Media, which showed that ten out of the most watched programs nationwide were produced by ABS-CBN, as the network garnered an average audience share of 46% among rural and urban homes versus GMA’s 34%.

Leading the list was the Coco Martin starrer “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” which recorded an average national TV rating of 35.5%. Viewers continued to follow the life of Cardo (Coco) as the program entered its new chapter, which marks Cardo’s journey to seek justice for the death of his son Ricky Boy.

Securing the second spot was ABS-CBN’s newest primetime series “La Luna Sangre” whose first two weeks recorded an average national TV rating of 34.1%. Aside from Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s comeback on television, viewers also tuned in to Richard Gutierrez’s debut as a Kapamilya, the special participation of Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz, and the charming child stars of the series.
